It's Wednesday of Holy Week. Just under 2000 years ago, Jesus went to the cross for all men. I watched the 64th Annual Easter Pageant at school today, and found myself weeping, not at the crucifixion, but at the miracles, and the humanity shown. How powerful is that? Not only is the miracle of salvation enough to bring us to a place of humility, but dwelling on the service Jesus showed throughout His life is enough to break me as I understand the love involved. So what is the glory of Christ? Is it that He would take on the sins of the world for fallen man? Or maybe the glory comes when we see the perfection of humanity and realize that He did humanity right, eventhough He had every opportuntiy to fail. He showed us how to be human, and for that we repaid Him with nails.
